Ben Nuttall, World renowned professional Football freestyler visited Noremarsh Junior School on Friday to deliver his football freestyle workshop to some very excited pupils.
The holder of 3 Guinness World Records Ben has performed at many stadiums including Old Trafford, The O2, Wembley and also performed for the 2018 Champions League Final in Kiev.
Children at Noremarsh were very excited and eager to learn some freestyle football skills from Ben and he shared his skills and knowledge with them on a very hot day, making sure all pupils had the chance to learn some simple football tricks.
Talking about his workshops Ben said, “I love to inspire the next generation of budding freestylers,” explaining, “but it’s not all about skills, the workshops allow students to improve their coordination, balance, control and also social skills.”
Mr James Underwood, PE Co-ordinator for the school said, “It’s great to be able to offer the children something different, they have really enjoyed today and all of them have learned to do at least one skill no matter what their ability with football, which is great.”
The day finished off a week of sporting activity for Noremarsh where pupils have tried Taekwondo, Archery, netball, taken part in two sports day events and challenged each other to Tug of war.
