Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after two indecent assaults in Swindon.
At approximately 12.30pm on Thursday 20 September 2018, a woman was walking along the alleyway between Griffiths Close and Sandgate in the Stratton area when a teenage boy approached her and touched her bottom.
The teenager then walked off into Yiewsley Crescent and did the same again to another woman.
A 16-year-old boy was detained at the second scene by two male members of the public and has been interviewed by officers.
Both victims were shaken but luckily not hurt in anyway.
Our investigations have been on-going into this case and it is now appropriate to release this appeal to the wider public.
PC Jo Phelps said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in this part of Swindon on this date.
“We would especially like to hear from a male who was seen on a orange and white pushbike wearing a yellow hi-viz vest who was riding near to the area at that time.”
If you can help with our enquiries in anyway please contact PC Jo Phelps on 101 quoting crime reference number 54180089043. Alternatively you can contact us anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
