Police are appealing for information following an arson incident in Swindon, where a motorcycle was deliberately set on fire in the early hours of 14th December.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:50 am when two suspects were seen moving a motorcycle into an alleyway behind Joseph Street, coming from the direction of Cambria Bridge. The vehicle was then set alight, causing significant damage.
The suspects are described as two males dressed entirely in black clothing. Authorities are now urging local residents to check any doorbell or CCTV footage they may have from that night and report any unusual activity they may have noticed.
A police spokesperson stated: “This was a reckless act of arson that could have posed a serious risk to the safety of residents in the area. We are urging anyone with information, no matter how small it may seem, to come forward. Your assistance could prove invaluable in identifying those responsible and bringing them to justice.”
In addition, police are keen to hear from anyone whose motorcycle may have been stolen in the vicinity overnight between 13th and 14th December.
