Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted outside a Swindon nightclub.
Between 3 and 4am on Saturday 18 August there was an altercation between two men near to The Casbah on John Street.
The male victim, in his 40’s, sustained serious injuries to his neck which required hospital treatment.
Det Con Michael Armishaw said: “The incident took place between The Casbah and the take-away kebab shop on John Street.
“We’d like to speak to anyone who may have seen this incident or heard or saw anything suspicious in the town centre in the early hours of Saturday morning – if that was you please come forward.
“There would have been people around at this time, either leaving the club or other nearby premises and making their way home after a night out, so someone should have seen or heard something.”
