Police are appealing for witnesses and seeking to check on the welfare of an electric bike rider who left the scene following a collision in Swindon on Monday afternoon (11th November).
At approximately 3.10pm, a young male, believed to be in his early-to-mid teens, was involved in a collision with a black Vauxhall Insignia on Eldene Drive. The incident occurred near the junction with Thorne Road, close to the bus stop.
The rider, described as slim with black hair and wearing a blue tracksuit with a black jacket, left the scene before he could be assessed for any injuries. Officers are keen to confirm his wellbeing and are urging him, or anyone who may know his identity, to come forward.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are concerned about the welfare of the young male involved and are keen to establish his condition. If you witnessed the collision or have any information that could assist our enquiries, please contact us.”
Anyone who may have seen the incident or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting log number 193 of 11th November.
