A sight synonymous with a Christmas – the Coca-Cola truck, has been spotted driving around the UK over the last couple of weeks and rest assured it will not be long before “holidays are coming….” is heard on every TV ad break.
With Swindon playing host to the 6.5m-long, 13 tonne truck numerous times over the fizzy drinks five year tour it is still unconfirmed if the lorry will be visiting the town again in 2017.
We understand there are two possible locations vying for the prestige of hosting the truck in 2017, Wharf Green in the town centre and The Orbital Centre. Both of which have hosted the Coca-Cola in the past.
A spokeswoman for the drinks giant told us: “We are currently planning the seventh Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour and as always will be doing our best to cover as much of the country as we can.
We’re told that plans for the truck tour are still being finalised, with dates to be announced mid-November
“We’ll be able to confirm dates and locations soon, so watch this space!”
