Over the next few weeks, Swindon Borough Council will be completing work on the Wichelstowe Southern Access Scheme.
The new underpass, which will eventually connect Wroughton and Wichelstowe via a new road called Wichel Way, was built to meet one of the planning conditions for the new 4,500-home Wichelstowe development.
While the new roundabout is now in use, Wichel Way, the new road connecting Wichelstowe and Wroughton, will remain closed to traffic until it is completed in Wichelstowe by the developers of the site.
