When will the Prime Minister announce road map out of lockdown

Boris Johnson announced earlier this evening the date when he will announce England’s pathway out of lockdown.

During this evening’s live Downing Street press briefing today Mr Johnson revealed that ‘the road map’ out of the current national lockdown will be made public on February 22nd – a week after the most vulnerable are targeted to have been vaccinated.

In the briefing, the Prime Minister also said it would “not  be possible” fully reopen schools after half-term as initially suggested, and it is expected to be March 8th ‘at the earliest’ for schools to take back pupils currently learning at home.
