What time is Boris’ roadmap announcement today?

The Prime Minister is set to address the nation later today, revealing the Government’s roadmap to exit lockdown.

The official announcement will be televised when the Prime Minister addresses the nation at 7pm.

It has already been announced that from March 8th all schools will reopen and care home residents able to have one regular visitor indoors.

It is also expected that people will be able to meet up with one other person from another household for a coffee in the park from the same date, with the rule of six coming in later on March 29th.

The roadmap comes as Boris Johnson pledged that every adult in the UK will be invited to have the jab by July 31st, with the other 50’s target now mid-April.

Mr Johnson said: “I want to see the rollout go further and faster in the coming weeks.

“We will now aim to offer a jab to every adult by the end of July, helping us protect the most vulnerable sooner, and take further steps to ease some of the restrictions in place.”
