What time Boris Johnson will give his lockdown speech

The Prime Minister is expected to deliver an address to the nation at 7pm on Sunday 10th May in which he intends to unveil his plans on how the UK will be eased out of lockdown.

When is it and how can I watch it?
The address will be on Sunday, May 10, at 7pm, it will be shown live on Sky News, BBC and will be broadcast on the radio.

The Prime Minister said he would make clear to the nation the “menu of options” he will have to choose from when he eventually decides to begin lifting the current restrictions.

Last month, the UK Government set out five tests that must be met before the they would consider lifting measures.

They are:

1. Evidence that the NHS can cope across the UK
2. A sustained fall in daily death rates
3. Evidence that the rate of infection is decreasing
4. Confidence that supplies of testing and PPE are able to meet demand
5. No risk of a second peak
