Waylands Volvo Swindon, located on Great Western Way, proudly announces that its latest addition to the fleet, the Volvo EX30, has been crowned Carwow’s Car of the Year.
The annual Carwow Awards, a prestigious recognition in the automotive industry, bestowed the highest honour upon the Volvo EX30, and Waylands Volvo Swindon couldn’t be more delighted with this achievement.
Carwow’s content team, renowned for their expertise in assessing cars to aid buyers in making informed decisions, carefully evaluated various aspects, including price, performance, efficiency, comfort, and practicality. The Volvo EX30, Volvo’s smallest SUV and their most sustainable vehicle to date, emerged victorious for its all-encompassing excellence.
The award-winning EX30 caught the judges’ attention for its sleek design, cutting-edge technology, and Volvo’s hallmark commitment to quality and safety, all packaged at an accessible price point for drivers.
Mat Watson, Chief Content Officer at Carwow, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Volvo has smashed it out of the park! The EX30 is the best all-round electric car – and the best car all-round – that I’ve driven all year. It has bags of character, is efficient, and is one of the most affordable small electric SUVs you can buy. It is a persuasive argument for anyone thinking about going electric.”
Scheduled to hit the roads in early 2024, the Volvo EX30 comes with a starting price of £33,795. Apart from Carwow’s Car of the Year, the EX30 has also secured other prestigious accolades, being named Electrifying.com’s Car of the Year and TopGear.com’s Eco Warrior of the Year for its stylish and sustainably focused design.
Luke Rodriguez, General Manager at Waylands Volvo Swindon, expressed his excitement, saying, “We’re thrilled that the Volvo EX30 has been named Carwow’s Car of the Year – we’ve seen lots of excitement about this new model since it was announced earlier this year, and this award win is another justification of that excitement.”
Rodriguez continued, “The EX30 offers all of the premium quality, safety, and sustainability associated with Volvo Cars, in a convenient, compact, and affordable package, and we’re delighted to be receiving such incredible feedback already.”
Swindon drivers are encouraged to visit Waylands Volvo Swindon to explore the award-winning EX30 and engage with the knowledgeable team to discover the unique features of this remarkable electric vehicle.
