Volvo Cars Swindon is gearing up for a stylish end to the year as the dealership unveils the flagship XC90 in its Black Edition line-up, part of a special two-week event running from 19 November to 3 December.
Arriving just in time for the Black Friday season, the showcase offers customers the chance to explore Volvo’s most dramatic design treatment across the range. From the street-friendly XC40 to the commanding and luxurious XC90, the Black Edition models bring a fresh, moody aesthetic built around deep black finishes, dark alloy wheels and high-gloss styling.
For the duration of the event, buyers can enjoy a complimentary upgrade to the Black Edition specification on selected models – including the XC40, EX40, EC40, XC60 and XC90 – when choosing PCP, Volvo Loan, Cash, PCH or BCH. It’s a rare opportunity for Swindon motorists to enjoy a more distinctive look without the usual premium attached.
Luke Rodriguez, General Manager at Volvo Cars Swindon, says the full line-up offers “a clear snapshot of Volvo’s modern design direction”.
“From the confident stance of the XC40 to the refinement and presence of the XC90, each model shows how Scandinavian design can look bold without shouting,” he said. “We’re delighted to have the entire Black Edition range here in Swindon, especially now the XC90 has joined the collection.”
The XC90 is expected to draw particular attention as it enters the Black Edition range for the first time. As Volvo’s flagship seven-seat SUV, it blends sophisticated styling with advanced technology and unmistakable road presence. Its arrival caps an event that aims to highlight the breadth of Volvo’s range – from full electric models to the marque’s most luxurious family car.

The event runs at Volvo Cars Swindon on Great Western Hill between 19 November and 3 December 2025, with test drives, showroom displays and Black Friday-season offers available throughout.
