Ramsbury Single Estate Spirits have created a Virtual Tip Jar, whereby customers are able to buy drinks vouchers for their favourite bar, restaurant or pub with Ramsbury matching every pound spent as a tip for that venue.
Mikul Kalyan, global brand ambassador at Ramsbury Single Estate Spirits, said: “It’s fair to say we are living through uncertain times, and the great and good of the British on-trade are also finding themselves and their livelihoods under sudden threat.
“Now, more than ever, is the time for brands and consumers to pull together as one community to support those in need.
“This initiative aims to do exactly that; through helping to ease the burden on bar owners immediately and guaranteeing future footfall.”
The Ramsbury drinks vouchers can be purchased online and are valid until 31 December 2020.
The funds will go to bar owners immediately, and the redeemable voucher will help to drive all-important footfall back to bars when they re-open.
A growing number of venues up and down the country are already on the list of those able to be selected to buy a drinks voucher from, including The Hop Inn (Old Town), The Royal Oak (Marlborough) and The Carters Rest (Wroughton).
Bars and other venues not currently on the list can join the scheme by putting themselves forward or being nominated by a consumer or another bar by contacting: ramsburyfriends@highballbrands.com.
