If you have tried to order your weekly shop online during the pandemic you are probably aware that getting a supermarket delivery slot feels a little like winning the lottery would right now!
Well this will be a thing of the past now with the launch of a new online tool.
Founded by 22-year-old Jason Moore after he was unable to find delivery slots for vulnerable members of his family. He got in touch with Sabrina Stocker who has previously appeared on BBC’s The One Show and The Apprentice to develop the business side of things and a week later Shopping Slot was up and running.
It works very similar to an comparison websites, you just need to enter your postcode and you will see all the available Asda, Tesco, Waitrose and Iceland delivery slots that will deliver to your home.
You can even get an email notification for when a slot does become available in your local area.
Mr Moore said” ‘I was spending hours online trying to reserve spaces, so I designed a website which automated the process. Initially, this was for my family and friends, but I thought it would be nationally beneficial for those elderly, vulnerable and isolating.’
