Two teenagers have appeared in court charged in connection with a serious assault in Swindon last week.
The boys, aged 16 and 17, have both been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and theft.
They appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and will appear in court again next month.
They cannot be named for legal reasons, as they are both under the age of 18.
The charges relate to an incident in Walcot, Swindon, last Thursday which left a 20-year-old man with serious injuries. He has been discharged from hospital but will need ongoing medical treatment.
