A man in his 30s was taken to hospital this morning after an incident inside a property on Seymour Road, Swindon, which has resulted in two arrests.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that they were alerted shortly after 8.20am (Monday 7th July) by ambulance crews reporting that a man had suffered a stab wound to his leg. Fortunately, the injury is not believed to be life-threatening, but the man was taken to hospital for treatment.
In connection with the incident, two women, aged 36 and 33, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remain in custody for questioning.
A police cordon remains in place at the address while officers carry out further investigations. At this stage, police have confirmed there is no wider threat to the local community.
Residents in the area have noted a visible police presence, though reassurance has been given that this is precautionary as part of the ongoing enquiry.
