Two youths have been arrested following an incident in Swindon town centre last night where one of the attackers is believed to have been armed with a gun.
A man in his 30s was approached in Regent Street at around 6.55pm by two males who were riding an electric bike.
One of the suspects is believed to have had a firearm in his possession, however, police do not believe this was used.
They assaulted the man resulting in minor injuries to his head, nose and a broken tooth.
Two 14-year-old boys have been arrested on suspicion of ABH and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, as well as robbery in relation to a separate incident which occurred in Rivermead Skate Park on Monday.
They remain in custody at Gablecross for questioning.
