Rail users are being reminded there are a number of rail closures affecting the GWR routes this Christmas.
From Christmas Eve there will be no direct trains from Swindon to London Paddington with services restarting again on Thursday 28th December.
There will however be a direct route into London Marylebone from Swindon for those travellers still wanting to get in to the city but these services will not stop at either Didcot or Reading and will take 1hour 45minutes.
Many other services will be affected with workers continuing on the electrification of the network over the Christmas period.
