A variety of work continues at Junction 16 of the M4, with BT utility diversions on Hay Lane, as well as earthworks and drainage works taking place on the south side of the roundabout, along Hay Lane and between Swindon Road and the westbound M4 entry.
Clay earthworks have continued and there will now be a focus on spreading and trimming the clay to determine how much more is needed to complete the widening of the junction.
It is anticipated that the J16 works will have a more significant impact on traffic in July as contractors move on to the southern half of the roundabout. We will keep you updated on this work and how this is likely to affect your journeys.
