Great Western Hospital employee Tom Frost is undertaking a cycling challenge throughout February to raise money for the Great Western Hospitals charity Brighter Futures, Dementia Appeal.
Tom is leaving the hospital in March after working there for the last 18 months and wanted to give something back before he left.
1st February he will cycle 2.5 miles, 2nd 5miles, on the 3rd 7.5miles and so on until at the end of the month when he will cycle 70 miles on the 28th February.
This will add up to a total of 1,015 miles during the month of which 437.5 miles will be in the final week.
Tom’s also looking for fellow GWH staff who cycle on the Zwift platform to login and join him on a ride or choose a day and cycle the same distance as him and collect their own sponsorship.
A spokesperson for Brighter Futures said: ‘We are very grateful to Tom for his final gift to the Trust and in particular to be supporting our patients with dementia. We wish you the best of luck Tom, we will be cheering you on every day in February and will keep everybody updated on your progress.’
