Police arrested six local males in the Parks area of Swindon yesterday morning, including three teenagers on suspicion of possessing offensive weapons.
The teens, two aged 15 and a 16-year-old were arrested alongside three 18-year-old men who were arrested on suspicion of GBH.
The arrests were in connection to a reported disturbance in the Parks/Walcot area late on Saturday night into the early hours of yesterday morning.
DI Joe Saunders from Swindon CID said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in this area of Swindon late on Saturday night into the early hours of Sunday morning.
“This is a large residential part of town, so I believe some local people would have seen or heard something linked to this disorder.
“We also believe there may have been a confrontation between those within this group beforehand. Again, if you have any information around this, please contact us.”
