Three men have been arrested following a knife-point robbery that occurred in Swindon on 15th September.
The incident took place at around 1:15 pm on Burbage Road, when a man in his 20s was confronted by two individuals on electric bikes.
The suspects approached the man from behind, with one of them pulling out a knife and demanding money. Thankfully, the victim was not harmed during the incident. The pair were reportedly disturbed by a passer-by, which caused them to flee the scene.
Following swift police action, an 18-year-old, a 21-year-old, and a 23-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of robbery. They have been released on bail while investigations continue.
PC McGuigan, who is leading the investigation, is appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly a woman believed to have been walking in the area at the time. “We understand the males were disturbed by a woman who was walking in the area at the time – she is believed to have been wearing a pink top. If this was you, please get in touch as you may be able to help with our enquiries,” said McGuigan.
