As the countdown to what promises to be one of Swindon’s glitziest events continues, Georgina Gee, the mastermind behind this year’s Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust Charity Ball, has issued a final call for tickets. With just a handful of spots remaining, prospective attendees are urged to secure their places before the looming deadline.
“Time is of the essence as we finalise preparations for what promises to be an unforgettable evening,” asserts Gee. “To ensure smooth planning, we’ve set this Saturday (9th) as the cutoff for guaranteed availability. After that, we’ll do our best to accommodate latecomers, but availability cannot be guaranteed.”
Set against the elegant backdrop of Blunsdon House Hotel, the night will be filled with entertainment from popular singer Drew Bryant and the infectious beats of Mazz’s Disco. Professional photographer Adrian Roberts will be on hand to capture precious moments throughout the evening.
Excitement mounts with the announcement of an array of sensational raffle prizes, including a deluxe barbecue, a luxurious overnight stay at Blunsdon House Hotel, and an MOT and service courtesy of Crombey Street Garage. Additionally, Painter Paul offers eight hours of labour, alongside various vouchers and surprises.
The pièce de résistance of the evening is undoubtedly the auction prize—a lavish meal at the esteemed 3 Michelin star restaurant, The Waterside at Bray, valued at £1,000. Generously donated by owner Alain Roux himself, this culinary experience is sure to tantalise the taste buds.
The charitable cause behind the event hits close to home for Gee, whose mother Tina battles with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Dedicated to raising funds for the PF Trust, the evening aims to provide crucial support for patients like Tina and others affected by this debilitating condition.
Doors open at 7 pm on March 23rd, with tickets priced at £55 per person, inclusive of a delectable three-course meal.
For those eager to share the experience with friends, a table for ten can be reserved for £500. Embracing the event’s theme, attendees are encouraged to don their finest tuxedos and tiaras, with special accommodation deals available for overnight stays at the hotel.
