Boris Johnson has this evening been moved to intensive care.
He was moved to London’s St Thomas’ Hospital yesterday after his symptoms persisted.
A spokesperson for Number 10 said “Over the course of this afternoon the condition of the Prime Minister has worsened. On the advice of his medical team he has been moved to the hospitals intensive care unit.
“The Prime Minister has asked Dominic Raab to deputise for him.
”The Prime Minister is receiving excellent care and thanks the NHS staff for their hard work and dedication.”
