A message from The Weighbridge Steakhouse and Bar regarding their proposed opening of their new services.
“Unfortunately our plan to launch our new Steakhouse and Bar service which was due to open on May 1st has been put on hold due to the COVID-19 situation , this is very disappointing due to the work and development put in to this project . We really don’t know when we will be able to reopen however hoping this is sooner rather than later.
We have therefore seen an opportunity where we can offer great restaurant quality food for takeaway, there appears to be a lack of this in the area and want to give people the ability to have that “date night” feel from their own homes as well as offer classics to suit a wider audience. Our guys have worked hard to put a great menu together that we feel will appeal to the people of Swindon.
You have your classic burgers, quality fish and chips and a Steak and ale pie our head chef Paul Winch thinks people will be wanting more and more of, whilst also offering things like a Butternut squash and Chickpea Coconut curry as interesting alternatives.
Orders are available through our Delivery partner Uber eats as well as through our own platform for click and collect as well as partnering with Just eat in the coming week.
We will also be offering 25% discount to all blue light card holders on our click and collect service as a thank you to the fabulous job they are doing.
With regards to the new Steakhouse, this is something that as has been in development for some months, we wanted an identity that fitted in with what the people of Swindon want, great genuine hospitality, abundance and whilst still being premium value for money all enjoyed in the stunning atmosphere of this iconic building ,We hope will be looking forward to welcome our local community to visit us soon to try our fantastic steak , Classic Cocktails and Amazing homemade traditional cakes.”
