Tesco have today announced they have introduced a limit on some products to stop customers stockpiling.
In an email to customers Tesco UK CEO Jason Tarry said “As we have good stock levels, please shop as you normally would so that everyone is able to get what they need.”
Customers are allowed to buy up to three of each item on the list which includes eggs, rice, flour, pasta, hand sanitiser and toilet roll.
NHS, emergency services and care workers have priority access to all Tesco stores, at any time and just need to make their way to the store entrance with their ID.
