A new Sainsbury’s Local will be opening this summer as the first retailer in the new Tadpole Local Centre.
Tadpole Garden Village has already had plans for a new Arkells pub to be opened and now the remainder of the local centre is taking shape.
Sainsbury’s is just the first tenant announced for the centre with four other units available for retail use.
Andrew Dobson, Managing Director of Crest Nicholson Strategic Projects, said: “This agreement with Sainsbury’s is an important milestone for the residents at Tadpole Garden Village. Since we first started work here in 2013, we’ve created a flourishing community with schools and a park to go alongside the homes we’ve built.”
Patrick Dunne, Director of Property, Procurement and Cost Transformation at Sainsbury’s said: “We’re very excited to provide Tadpole Garden Village residents with a brand new store right at their doorstep. We will get to work as quickly as possible to fit our store out and bring customers our great value, high quality products.
