Swindon’s Scott Media Launches Successful Speakers’ Platform

Swindon-based PR consultancy Scott Media has seen a remarkable response to its newly launched speakers’ platform, Scott Media Speakers. Launched in April, the platform has already filled its roster with fifty high-calibre speakers, necessitating a waiting list for new applicants.

Scott Media Speakers was created to provide clients with a unique opportunity to elevate their profiles through speaking engagements. The platform’s swift success has surpassed expectations, showcasing a diverse array of speakers from various fields, including Paralympians, authors, an allergy campaigner, a menopause expert, and a personal trainer. These speakers bring a wealth of experience and compelling personal stories, as well as expertise in business-related topics.

Lauren Roberts of Scott Media expressed her delight at the platform’s rapid growth: “We are thrilled with how quickly Scott Media Speakers has taken off. The range and quality of our speakers are truly impressive, and we’ve been astounded by their fascinating stories and the diverse topics they cover. Common themes include dealing with burnout, resilience, and inclusion.”

Among the names joining the platform is antiques expert David Harper, known for his appearances on television programmes such as “Flog It!”, “Antiques Road Trip”, and “Bargain Hunt”. Harper’s addition as the fiftieth speaker highlights the calibre of professionals Scott Media Speakers is attracting.

Scott Media is actively promoting the speakers through various PR efforts, including social media and regular blog posts. Bookings are already on the rise, with one professional speaker and author signed up for a series of keynote addresses. Organisations looking to book a speaker can choose from one of four tiers, which classify speakers based on experience and expertise. Each speaker has an online profile featuring a short biography and details of their speaking topics.

Lauren Roberts added, “It’s early days, but we are excited to have secured our first booking and are currently handling several enquiries. We plan to maintain the number of speakers at fifty this year to focus on securing engagements but may consider expanding next year. In the meantime, new applicants are being placed on a waiting list. We offer a diverse range of speakers who have been thoroughly vetted. Unlike many agencies, a lot of our speakers are more interested in sharing their knowledge than earning large fees, which is the niche we aim to fill.”
