Fiona Scott, one of Wiltshire’s most respected public relations professionals and a familiar face in both journalism and business circles, is set to deliver a keynote speech at the London Expo in Windsor this June.
Taking place on Thursday 12th June at the Royal Windsor Racecourse, the London Expo is organised by The Great British Expos and attracts small business owners, entrepreneurs and industry leaders from across the region.
Fiona, the founder and managing director of Swindon-based Scott Media, will be speaking on ‘The Art of Storytelling: The Entrepreneurial Journey’ at 10.15am. Drawing on over three decades of experience in newspapers and television, her talk will explore how storytelling remains a powerful tool in building a brand and enhancing business visibility.
Speaking ahead of the event, Fiona said:
“It’s a real honour to be invited to speak. I’ll be sharing my own journey, the lessons I’ve learned from running a business, and the importance of using your own story to connect with audiences in a genuine and memorable way.”
Known for her direct and down-to-earth approach, Fiona has been a champion for small business voices in the media. Through her PR firm and speaker platform Scott Media Speakers, she has helped countless entrepreneurs tell their story, secure press coverage, and grow their credibility.
With a career in journalism spanning more than 38 years, Fiona has recently turned author. Her first book, The Hard Yards, charts the highs and lows of her first decade in business. A second, Tales of a Backwater Journalist, is due out at the end of the year and promises a no-holds-barred look behind the headlines.
Swindon will be well represented at the Expo, with fellow speaker Rob Curtis also set to appear. Founder of The Pursuit Agency and part of the Scott Media Speakers line-up, Rob will deliver a session titled Scaling for Success, aimed at business owners looking to grow sustainably.
The London Expo runs from 10am to 3pm, with free entry for all attendees. For more information or to register for tickets, visit: greatbritishexpos.co.uk
