Swindon’s Optimum Professional Services is abuzz with joy as two of its accountancy and audit apprentices, Callum Morton and Zach Bunce, celebrate their successful completion of AAT qualifications, becoming AAT accredited professionals.
Having joined Optimum in October 2020, Callum and Zach made a firm decision to pursue careers in accountancy. Their dedication and hard work have paid off, as they proudly announce their AAT level achievements and look forward to the next chapter in their careers, studying for their ACA chartered qualifications.
Zach expressed his delight, saying, “We’re really happy to have passed our exams and have got our AAT qualifications at the same time. We’re working on client accounts, some Corporation Tax, some auditing and management accounts, and very much enjoying it.”
Before embarking on their apprenticeship journey at Optimum, Zach had already gained experience in financial services and wealth management, while Callum had worked in customer service and retail roles.
Callum said: “I had done my Level 2 accountancy at college and was quite good at maths, so I decided to change careers. Everyone at Optimum has been very supportive and they are a great team to work with. We’d definitely recommend apprenticeships as a way to get into the profession.”
