Swindon Travel Hub the independent travel agency founded by Shaun and Ashley, is preparing to celebrate a highly successful first year at the heart of Swindon’s Old Town.
What started with the collection of keys in June 2024 has grown into a thriving hub for local travellers, with the doors officially opening in August 2024.
Over the past year, Swindon Travel Hub has not only helped countless customers plan their dream holidays, but also built a reputation for strong community involvement. The team have proudly supported Swindon Town Football Club’s Academy, sponsored the Wyvern Theatre’s Christmas pantomime, partnered with Hop Kettle Brewery to can a limited edition Swindon Travel Hub-branded beer, and more recently, backed Swindon Pickleball’s Festival and New Member Scheme.
“We’ve always believed that being a local business means being part of the local community,” said Shaun. “It’s been fantastic to contribute to so many brilliant organisations during our first year.”
As part of their celebrations, attention is now turning to the highly anticipated £5,000 Holiday Prize Draw. Launched in late 2024, the competition offers multiple ways for people to secure entries, including:
Bookings: Each booking made with Swindon Travel Hub between December 2024 and November 2025 earns one automatic entry.
Referrals: Customers who refer friends or family that go on to make a booking will gain additional entries.
NEW – Online Registration: In addition, anyone can now register their details online with Swindon Travel Hub to receive one free entry into the prize draw – opening up the competition to even more potential winners.
Ashley added: “We wanted to make sure everyone in Swindon has a chance to take part. Even if you haven’t booked with us yet, simply registering your details online will put you into the draw.”
The draw is scheduled to take place in late 2025, with the hope of holding a live event to announce the lucky winner.
With such a remarkable first year already behind them, Swindon Travel Hub’s August anniversary promises to be a real celebration of both business success and community partnership.
