As the festive season approaches, Swindon Town FC is gearing up for its annual visit to the Children’s Ward at Great Western Hospital.
In the spirit of spreading Christmas cheer, the club’s management, players, and staff are committed to delivering presents to those spending time in the Children’s Ward.
While Swindon Town has already purchased and received generous donations of brand-new toys, this year brings an opportunity for fans, supporters, and the wider community to join in the goodwill. The Men’s and Women’s first-teams, along with the staff and the Official Supporters Club, are actively seeking additional toy and gift donations to enhance the festive celebrations for the young patients.
If you wish to contribute and make a difference, here are the necessary requirements for the donations:
-
- Age Range: The age range for the recipients in the hospital spans from 0 to 17 years.
- Gift Criteria: All gifts must be brand new, and the suggested types of gifts include puzzles, books, and games – items that can bring joy and entertainment to children of various age groups.
Drop-off Details: Ensure your donations reach Swindon Town FC’s Main Reception desk, located within the Arkell’s Stand on the left-hand side of the main entrance to The County Ground Stadium, before Thursday, 7th December 2023.
The reception will be open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
Please note that any gifts delivered after the specified deadline will, unfortunately, not be able to reach the hospital in time for the festive celebrations.
