Swindon’s Old Town Gardens will be transformed into a haven for craft spirit enthusiasts this coming weekend as the award-winning Gin To My Tonic Festival comes to town.
Taking place over two days, Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September, the festival promises a unique opportunity to delve into the world of craft distilling, offering attendees a chance to sample, sip, and celebrate with some of the UK’s top distillers.
The festival, which has previously won the accolade of Best Gin Event, is branded as the ultimate journey of gin discovery. It provides a rare opportunity for fans of gin and other spirits to meet the people behind their favourite brands, learn about the distillation process, and taste an array of premium products, all included with the price of admission.
But it’s not just gin lovers who will find themselves in paradise. The event also boasts bars stocked with an extensive range of craft spirits, including rum, vodka, tequila, and more. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic cocktail, a glass of prosecco, or even a cold beer, the festival’s offerings cater to a wide variety of tastes. To top it all off, live entertainment will keep the atmosphere lively, ensuring that everyone can truly get into the party spirit.
Tickets for the festival are available in two tiers. The General Admission Ticket, priced at £17.50, includes an Explorer Guide, a new-look glass and tote bag, a stainless-steel straw, and a sampling cup. Guests will also enjoy access to extensively stocked spirit bars, exclusive gin and rum releases, free sampling from onsite distillers, and live entertainment throughout the event.
For those seeking a more exclusive experience, the Express VIP Ticket is available for £30.00. VIP attendees gain priority access 15 minutes before general admission, fast-track entry, a free welcome drink, and additional perks such as a branded pen, a special VIP tasting card, and a cloakroom service.
The festival is divided into three sessions: Friday evening from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and two sessions on Saturday, with the first from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and the second from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Each session offers a different flavour of the festival, allowing attendees to choose the experience that best suits their schedule and preferences.
