The Weighbridge, hope to reward the efforts of local stars who “deserve a day off from the cooking” this Sunday.
The steakhouse and bar have 60 Roast Dinners to give away to holders of a Blue Light Card or teachers to ‘give something back’.
There is a choice of Roast Sirloin of Beef or Roast Pork Belly with a Selection, Yorkshire Pudding, Roast Potatoes and seasonal veg.
The meals will need to be collected on Sunday with pick up times of 1145, 1215, 1245, 1315.
Anyone wanting to request a break from cooking is asked to email events@weighbridgeswindon.co.uk with a copy of your blue light card or teacher ID
I would like my neighbour Clare Carroll to have a Sunday off! She is an operating nurse and as an nhs staff member has worked through this pandemic! She hasn’t even had her Covid jab yet!
She has two young children home schooled by her husband as Clare is on the front line!
I don’t know what badge she has but she has never complained and has helped so many peeps throughout this pandemic
