Swindon Borough Council are urging residents to put their bins out earlier than normal to allow waste and recycling crews to complete their rounds a little earlier to limit the time they’re out during the hottest parts of the day.
A council spokesperson said: ‘If your waste or recycling is due to be collected this week, please have it ready at the kerbside by 6am, rather than the normal time of 6.30am, to help the crews out.’
You can find your collection day for all your waste and recycling collections using the Swindon Borough Council online calendar.
