Swindon Prezzo is confirmed as on of 22 restaurants to close with the loss of 216 jobs after the chain was rescued out of administration.
The new owner said the action protects the vast majority of Prezzo’s 2,900 team members’ jobs.
All the chain’s 178 restaurants are currently closed to customers in the face of the latest national coronavirus lockdown.
The Swindon branch at Regent Circus in in the process of being cleared out and the signs removed from the front of the building.
