After peaking at an average price of over 190p per litre just two weeks ago, petrol prices are gradually starting to reduce.
With ASDA’s announcement yesterday that they are lowering prices at the pump it is widely expected that other local stations will follow suit and this morning Sainsbury’s appear to have followed their lead.
However given that just twelve months ago the average price of unleaded was around 130p per litre, the recent drop in prices has only been of little consolation.
