Parents in Swindon are being reminded to get their applications in early for secondary school places next year.
Lydiard Park Academy (LPA), one of the town’s top-performing schools, is opening its doors to prospective students and families this week.
The academy will showcase its upgraded facilities – including renovated classrooms and a brand-new gym – alongside the wide range of extracurricular activities on offer. Visitors will also be able to meet staff and hear about the school’s latest academic results, which are above the national average.
LPA prides itself on strong student outcomes, with twice as many pupils progressing to university compared to the local average.
Open Evening Dates
Tuesday 9 September, 5.30pm–7.00pm
Wednesday 10 September, 5.30pm–7.00pm
Principal Gary Pearson will speak to families at 5.45pm and 6.30pm on both evenings.
