Following the much-anticipated build-up, the annual Wyvern Theatre Family Fun Day on Monday, surpassed all expectations, delivering a day brimming with joy and laughter.
Over 100 children immersed themselves in a day filled with diverse and engaging events catered to a broad spectrum of ages from drama workshops to storytelling sessions, ensuring every child found something to captivate their imagination.

The Prime Theatre Drama Workshops, one of the days highlights, provided a platform for young performers to unleash their creativity. The interactive sessions allowed children to step into the limelight, exploring the magic of the stage and creating a space for self-expression and imaginative play.
Kate Claxton, an award-winning children’s author and storyteller, led the Story Explorers Workshops, transporting the younger children into a world of enchantment and literary wonder.
The highlight of the day was the Totally Crazy Entertainment featuring the talented Paul Burling. Known for his impressive performances on Britain’s Got Talent and contributions to Swindon Panto last year, Burling brought laughter and some pretty impressive balloon modeling along for the day.
In the foyer, the bake sale, held in support of Wyvern Memory Sessions, also allowed the older attendees to indulge their sweet tooth while contributing to a meaningful cause.
In summary, the Wyvern Theatre’s Family Fun Day was a resounding success, next up Panto!!!
