Calling all young writers and aspiring authors! Let’s Create Art Club and esteemed local children’s author, Kate Claxton have announced a fantastic collaboration for this summer.
Together, they are offering an exciting and unique Summer Story Camp for children aged 7 to 12 years old.
This exceptional holiday experience will give participants the opportunity to write, illustrate, and publish their very own book, with a grand celebratory launch at Swindon’s very own Waterstones bookstore! Imagine the joy of seeing your child’s very own book on the shelves of this renowned bookstore! It’s an opportunity not to be missed.
The Summer Story Camp will span 8 days over two weeks, commencing on Monday, July 31st, and concluding on Thursday, August 10th although there is no camp on August 4th.
The camp will take place at the picturesque Brook Field Primary School in Shaw, providing both indoor and outdoor creative spaces for young authors to explore their imagination.
Let’s Create Art Club, known for its expertise in creative mindfulness, will provide a stimulating and fun-filled environment for children to bring their stories to life.
Participants will immerse themselves in a range of indoor and outdoor activities, fostering their creativity, storytelling skills, and artistic talents. Through guidance from Kate Claxton and the Let’s Create team, each child will have the chance to develop a unique book from start to finish.
The Summer Story Camp investment is £240 per child for the entire 8-day duration, covering all materials and expert guidance.
As a special offer, Let’s Create Art Club extends a generous 25% discount to siblings, making this opportunity even more accessible for families with multiple children.
