Town Gardens Bowl cuts family ticket prices for summer programme

Families will be able to enjoy more live entertainment for less this summer after South Swindon Parish Council announced reduced ticket prices across its Town Gardens Bowl programme.

The discounts form part of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings initiative and apply to a range of family-friendly performances throughout the school holidays, with some children’s tickets now costing as little as £3.50.

The move is designed to make the historic outdoor venue more accessible to local families while encouraging more people to enjoy the packed programme of entertainment on offer.

This year’s line-up includes children’s favourites such as Rock The Tots, Comedy Club 4 Kids, Alice in Wonderland, The Family Magic Show and KAPOW Wrestling, alongside live music, comedy, tribute acts and outdoor theatre.

Councillor John Firmin, Chair of the Events Working Party at South Swindon Parish Council, said the reduced prices recognised the financial pressures many families face during the school holidays.

“We know that the summer holidays can be an expensive time for families, and we want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy fantastic live entertainment right here in Swindon.

“By supporting the Government’s Great British Summer Savings initiative, we’re pleased to offer reduced ticket prices that help make our events even more accessible.

“The Town Gardens Bowl has a long tradition of bringing people together through culture and entertainment, and we look forward to welcoming even more families through our gates this summer.”

Set in the heart of Old Town, the Town Gardens Bowl hosts a varied programme of outdoor events each year, attracting audiences from across Swindon and beyond.

The Parish Council is encouraging visitors to book early, with several performances expected to sell out during the summer season.
