Swindon, City of Sanctuary has been working with Swindon 200 and Swindon Viewpoint to produce a wonderful film about their work, their goals and their aspirations which is on view, free tonight.
They are an organisation aiming to promote a culture of welcome, inclusion and support for everyone in Swindon, with a focus on those seeking sanctuary.
In practical terms, they work to do this by bringing people and organisations in our community together, providing practical support through projects, running community events, raising awareness and campaigning for social justice, therefore, contributing to the wider, national movement that is City of Sanctuary.
This is a free event and tea, coffee and cake is provided.
After the screening of the film there will be a chance to ask them questions about our work and find out how you can support what we do!
