McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon has announced its latest community venture, a collaboration with the renowned brand Curated Makers.
The much-anticipated pop-up will make its debut on July 22nd, showcasing and supporting over 40 talented local artists and makers not only from Wiltshire but also from surrounding counties.
Curated Makers originated from a humble market stall in November 2017 when founder Megan Jones handpicked a selection of products from four local makers. Since then, it has blossomed into an award-winning, pop-up retail business dedicated to connecting UK shoppers with the finest makers, artists, and designers in their respective regions.
Serving as a bridge between prominent corporations and small-scale enterprises, Curated Makers transforms vacant retail spaces into unforgettable shopping experiences. Their stores, concessions, and markets have flourished throughout the UK, making it effortless for shoppers to discover exquisite, one-of-a-kind, and superior-quality items crafted by local creatives.
Since 2018, Curated Makers has successfully hosted pop-ups within renowned retailers, including John Lewis, M&S, Paperchase, and Next, in addition to establishing their own brand stores at Sheffield Meadowhall and Leeds Trinity shopping centres and now the latest store in Swindon.
On offer at the Designer Outlet will be an impressive lineup of small businesses offering a diverse range of products spanning from exquisite jewelry to stylish stationery and captivating home décor.
The primary goal of this partnership is to encourage visitors to the Outlet to champion local entrepreneurs instead of settling for mass-produced goods.
