As the Project Manager for The Big Dog Art Trail and an avid running enthusiast, Chris Hyde is combining his passions to make a meaningful impact.
He has taken up the challenge of running between all 72 sculptures on The Big Dog Art Trail to raise funds for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice Charity.
On Wednesday 26th July, Chris invites you to join him for this inspiring challenge or kindly donate to help him reach his fundraising target. However, it is essential to note that this is not an official Julia’s House event.
Chris is taking on this challenge as an individual, and anyone deciding to join him must be aware of the inherent risks. Participants will be responsible for their health, safety, and well-being during the run. Chris advises bringing your own refreshments and any necessary support, and he hopes for some enthusiastic supporters to join him on this meaningful journey.
The route will commence at the North Swindon Library at the Orbital Shopping Park at 8:30 am and conclude at the NSBRC Sculpture at Lydiard Park at around 11:48 am. Participants are welcome to join Chris for as much or as little of the route as they wish. If you plan to join the run, please contact Chris at chris.hyde@juliashouse.org.

Chris has taken on this challenge with a heartfelt motivation to support families facing unimaginable heartbreak – the knowledge that their child may not live into adulthood. Julia’s House Children’s Hospice Charity provides vital respite care for children with life-shortening conditions, offering their parents much-needed breaks.
Remarkably, the charity relies on the support of the local community to fund 92% of its annual income. Chris’s decision to support Julia’s House will make a life-changing difference to vulnerable children and families across Wiltshire and Dorset.
Join Chris Hyde in The Big Dog Art Trail Challenge and become a part of this compassionate journey to support Julia’s House Children’s Hospice Charity and make a positive impact on the lives of these families.
