Reports are coming in of a major fire at the former Madison Hotel in Stratton.
Black smoke can be seen for miles around coming from the site of the old hotel on Oxford Road near to Toys’R’Us and emergency services are currently at the scene.
The fire is believed to also be causing traffic delays in the area and we would advise drivers to avoid the area if possible.
The hotel closed in June 2014 and sold onto developers.
More to follow.
