Leading bus operator Stagecoach West has appointed Bill McCartney as its new operations manager for Swindon.
Bill McCartney, aged 31, from the west coast of Scotland, will be based at Stagecoach’s Swindon offices at the Bus Station.
He joins from Stagecoach East where he held the position of operations manager for Stagecoach Peterborough.
Bill, who the Stagecoach Group in 2013 through the graduate development program, said: “I am delighted to have joined Stagecoach West and I’m looking forward to helping maintain and further build on the quality and reliability of our services in the region for the benefit of our passengers.
“It is an exciting time to be a part of the team with the imminent launch of our new frequent town service, the number 3, which will offer new connections for our customers.”
Bill will be responsible managing the day to day operation ensuring delivery of service.
