There’s a chance to see the model of the new museum and art gallery proposed for the town centre and give feedback on the proposals at a drop-in event at the Orbital Centre in North Swindon next week.
From 3pm to 7pm on Wednesday 2 August a team from the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery Trust will be at MP Justin Tomlinson’s community office to meet people and explain the aspirations for the building, and asking visitors for comment and feedback, as well as ideas on how they might become involved.
The event is one of a series of appearances that the model is making throughout the summer and autumn, before the trust submits a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund for funding towards the project.
There is no need to book for the event, but just call in to the First Floor at the Customer Service Hub at the Orbital Shopping Park on Thamesdown Drive, Swindon SN25 4AN.
