Two swimmers from the Swindon area were pulled from the River Avon yesterday by rescuers
Police confirmed the two men, who were part of a “group of young men” from the Swindon area, had travelled to Bath to “enjoy the nice weather”, were pronounced dead after being pulled out of the river.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said the deaths were not being treated as suspicious and would be referred to the coroner.
