An unlucky lottery winner from Swindon has missed out on their chance to claim a £1m prize after the final deadline passed on Thursday night.
The winning ticket was bought in Swindon for the draw on 9th November and matched five main numbers and the bonus ball. However, the deadline to claim the prize was at midnight on Thursday as the 180 days window that winners have to claim was up, meaning they have now lost the opportunity to claim their prize.
Unclaimed prize money goes to charities chosen by the National Lottery and will help many good causes.
