This July, Swindon will play host to a fitness first as The Longevity Games lands at Moredon Sporting Hub – and it promises to be no ordinary workout.
Taking place on Sunday 20th July, the event brings together function, challenge, and a hefty dose of sweat on a private, closed-road cycle track – complete with rolling inclines that’ll make even the fittest folk earn their finish. The twist? The entire course is off-limits to traffic, leaving just you, the terrain, and your limits to battle it out.
Forget the flat track shuffle. This is a full-body fitness event that caters to all abilities, with a structure that encourages progress over perfection. Whether you’re new to the scene or seasoned in high-intensity sweat sessions, The Longevity Games is geared to give every participant a moment worth remembering.
There are three levels on offer:
Novice Level: Designed for beginners or those returning to training after time away. With lower impact and movements that can be adjusted to suit, this one’s about building confidence and surprising yourself along the way.
Intermediate Level: A step up for those already active and looking to push their boundaries. The pace quickens, the stations ask more, and that buzz at the end? Well earned.
Proficient Level: No messing about here. This is the ‘dig deep or go home’ level. Steep climbs, gruelling stations, and a test of both stamina and willpower. You’ll walk away knowing you gave it everything.
Unlike many mass-participation events, this one’s about you. Your level, your challenge, your race. It’s fitness in its rawest form—no gimmicks, just honest effort in an epic outdoor setting.
Set against the backdrop of Moredon’s closed circuit and surrounded by fellow challengers, The Longevity Games isn’t just about exercise. It’s a reminder that functional fitness can be fun, inclusive, and fiercely motivating.
Entries open soon at www.thelongevitygames.co.uk, and with limited spaces available, organisers are urging early sign-ups to avoid missing out. One thing’s for certain – whether you walk it, run it, or conquer it like a pro, you won’t forget it in a hurry.
